Meet Our Staff

David Pendleton resides in Kingsport. He graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School and received a B. S. from East Tennessee State University. He has been a licensed life and health insurance agent since 1982. He obtained his property and casualty license in both TN & VA in 1987. Before opening his own independent office in 1996, he was with Allstate Insurance Company for nine years. He has won many company awards and has earned his Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. He is past president of the Cosmo Kiwanis Club of Kingsport and past president of the Kingsport Association of Life Underwriters and Financial Advisors. David says he is most proud of being an Eagle Scout. David also owns Healthcare Resource Group (HRG), an employee benefits firm established in 1998.

Connie Kindle resides in Kingsport with her husband. She graduated from Pocahontas County High School in West Virginia and attended ETSU. She has been a licensed agent in Tennessee and Virginia since 1988. Connie has earned her Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. Before teaming up with David to become an independent agent, she was with Allstate Insurance Company for eight years. Connie is part owner of the agency, and can handle all aspects of your insurance needs.

Vince Goodman has been an insurance professional since 1995. Vince listens to the needs of a client, applies his experience to come up with the best product to meet those needs and then consistently delivers exceptional customer service. Raised in Augusta, Georgia, Vince graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University and developed a love of golf early while watching the greats play at Augusta National. He is married to Deborah Rose Goodman and is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Temple Goodman of Bristol, VA. Vince, licensed in both Tennessee and Virginia, can assist with any of your insurance needs, both personal and commercial.

Originally from Western New York, Doug graduated from Clarion University in 1980, and shortly after moved to Tucson, AZ. He spent 24 years in the insurance business, and was the owner of Hallock Insurance Agency, LLC. In 2008, he sold his agency to enter full time ministry as a speaker and musician, traveling and performing in 40 states. He and his family moved to Kingsport in 2011. Doug retired from traveling and returned to the insurance business in 2015, joining David Pendleton & Associates. Doug is licensed to sell property and casualty insurance in Tennessee and Virginia.

Amanda Hales lives in Kingsport, TN with her husband. She graduated from John S Battle High School and received an Associate Degree from Virginia Highlands Community College. She comes to the agency after working with a Pharmaceutical company for 10 years. While at this company, she worked as a pharmacy technician, market scheduler, and manager. She is a licensed Agent in TN and VA. When she is not in the office, she is reading a book or hiking a new trail.

Becky Trivett resides in Bristol, VA with her husband. She graduated from King University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She was with a Pharmaceutical company for 13 years before coming to the agency in 2017. When not at work, Becky enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
